Summary
Examine simple mechanisms before accepting exotic mechanisms. So far standard QED seems able to explain the available data.
Libet's raw data show a large 300 msec asynchrony
dead zone. With so much uncertainty it is easy
for neural mechanisms to produce biases.
The EEG experiments to be reported at this conference could win a Nobel prize if validated.
One hopes the quality of the data will improve.
